5 Days 4 Nights Kashmir Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar & Stay at Houseboat (Dinner)

• Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport, Srinagar. Meet and greet by the local team.

• Afternoon: Transfer to Dal Lake for check-in at a traditional Kashmiri houseboat. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views of the lake.

• Evening-Night: Relax and unwind at the houseboat. Enjoy a traditional Kashmiri dinner (e.g., Wazwan). Optional: Take a short stroll around the lake if time permits.

• Overnight: Stay at the houseboat in Srinagar.

Day 2: Tulip Garden & Gulmarg Adventure (Breakfast, Dinner)

• Morning: Breakfast at the houseboat, then head to Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden (around 30 minutes from Dal Lake). Enjoy the vibrant colors of the tulips with the Zabarwan Hills in the backdrop (Note: Tulip season typically runs from late March to April).

• Afternoon: Drive to Gulmarg (approx. 2 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Evening: Take the Gulmarg Gondola ride. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas and snow-covered landscapes (if winter) or lush green meadows.

• Night: Return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.

• Overnight: Stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 3: Full Day Sonamarg (Breakfast, Dinner)

• Morning: Breakfast, then depart for Sonamarg (around 2.5 hours). Enjoy the scenic views of the Sindh River and mountains along the way.

• Afternoon: Arrive at Sonamarg, explore the "Meadow of Gold." Visit Thajiwas Glacier (optional: pony ride at additional cost, INR 500-1000 per person depending on distance). Enjoy a picnic lunch or dine at a local restaurant.

• Evening: Free time to take photos or stroll through the meadows.

• Night: Return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Overnight: Stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 4: Full Day Pahalgam (Breakfast, Dinner)

• Morning: Breakfast, then head to Pahalgam (approximately 2.5 hours). Enjoy the beautiful views of the Lidder River and pine forests.

• Afternoon: Explore Lidder Valley and surrounding areas. Lunch at a local restaurant.

• Evening: Choose one of the optional destinations (additional cost):

  • Betab Valley (famous from Bollywood films, around 30 minutes from Pahalgam).

  • Aru Valley (a peaceful place for relaxation). Additional costs for local transport or guide (around INR 1000-2000 depending on the option). Alternatively, enjoy free time at the local Pahalgam market or walk along the river.

• Night: Return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

• Overnight: Stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 5: Mughal Gardens & Departure (Breakfast)

• Morning: Breakfast and check-out from the houseboat. If flight time allows, visit one of the Mughal gardens:

  • Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Joy, with beautiful views of Dal Lake).

  • Shalimar Bagh (The Garden of Love with fountains). Visit time: around 1-1.5 hours.

• Afternoon: Transfer to Srinagar Airport for departure. If time is tight, go directly to the airport. Note: Ensure your flight is in the afternoon or evening to accommodate the Mughal garden visit.

Important Notes:

• Tulip Season: The Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden usually opens from March to April. If you are visiting outside this period, the Tulip Garden visit will be replaced with another Mughal garden or activities in Srinagar (e.g., Shikara ride).

• Clothing: Bring warm clothing for Gulmarg and Sonamarg (especially if traveling in winter). Jackets, comfortable shoes, and hats are recommended.

• Safety: Follow the local guides, especially when traveling in mountainous regions.

Before we begin, please read and understand the following terms and conditions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip:

1. Registration and Payment

• Registration: Participants must register via WhatsApp with SannHoliday India admin at +917006976347.

• Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total trip cost must be paid at the time of registration to secure your place. The balance is due 14 days before departure.

• Full Payment: If registration is made less than 14 days before departure, full payment must be made at the time of registration.

• Payment Method: Transfers should be made to the official bank account of PT Sanjaya Anugera Wisata or Susanna Lubis, which will be provided upon confirmation. We are not responsible for payments made outside of the official accounts.

2. Package Includes:

• Accommodation: 4 nights (hotel and houseboat in Srinagar).

• Meals: Breakfast and dinner as per the itinerary.

• Transport: Ground transportation throughout the trip (AC car/van).

• Sightseeing: Entrance tickets to tourist attractions as per the itinerary (Mughal Gardens, Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1, etc.).

• Local Tour Guide: Experienced English-speaking local guide.

• Insurance: Basic travel insurance.

3. Package Excludes:

• Flight Tickets: International flights to Delhi and domestic flights from Delhi to Srinagar.

• Visa for India: We can assist with the visa process for an additional fee.

• Optional Activities: Skiing, snowboarding, pony rides, etc.

• Personal Expenses: Shopping, laundry, phone calls.

• Tips for Guide and Driver: Suggested tip of INR 500-1000 per day per group.

• Force Majeure Costs: Additional costs due to force majeure (natural disasters, flight cancellations, etc.).

4. Cancellation Policy:

• By Participant: In case of cancellation by the customer, the deposit will be forfeited.

• By SannHoliday India: If the trip is canceled due to minimum group quota (10 participants) not being met or force majeure, the funds will be transferred to an alternative date as agreed.

• Flight Tickets: Airfare tickets already issued are non-refundable unless per the airline’s policy.

5. Document Requirements:

• Participants must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return.

• An Indian visa is required and must be obtained before departure. SannHoliday India can assist with the visa process for an additional fee, but the final decision is the authority of the Indian Embassy.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring their travel documents are complete.

6. Health and Safety:

• The weather will be mildly cool; it is recommended to wear a jacket.

• Bring warm clothes, personal medication, and winter clothing essentials.

• Participants aged 60 and above must be accompanied and provide a medical certificate from a doctor, as well as have travel insurance.

• SannHoliday India is not responsible for accidents or health issues arising from participant negligence.

7. Schedule and Itinerary Changes:

• The itinerary may change due to weather, road conditions, or local regulations (e.g., road closures due to heavy snowfall). SannHoliday India will strive to provide the best alternatives.

• Activities such as the gondola ride or visits to specific valleys depend on snow conditions and authorization from local authorities.

8. Participant Responsibility:

• Participants must follow the guide’s instructions for their safety and the smooth running of the trip.

• Damage to property (hotel, houseboat, vehicle) due to participant negligence will be the participant’s responsibility.

• Participants denied entry by Indian immigration or airlines are not entitled to a refund.

9. Force Majeure:

• SannHoliday India is not responsible for any losses due to natural disasters (snowstorms, landslides), civil unrest, or transport cancellations beyond our control. Any additional costs incurred will be the responsibility of the participant.

10. Agreement:

By registering, the participant is deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
