Ladakh Buddhist Trail – 6 Days 5 Nights

Day 1 – Arrival in Leh (-)

Arrive in Leh, check in to your hotel and rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.
In the afternoon, enjoy a light visit to Shanti Stupa, easily accessible with a few steps—perfect for your first day.

Day 2 – Leh Local Sightseeing (B/D)

Visit the following key sites:

• Hall of Fame (military museum)

• Magnetic Hill

• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

• Sangam Point (confluence of the Indus & Zanskar Rivers)

• Leh Palace
  Overnight stay at hotel in Leh.

Day 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (B/D)

Scenic drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
Visit:

• Diskit Monastery

• Bactrian camel ride at the Hunder sand dunes
  Overnight stay at camp or hotel in Nubra.

Day 4 – Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok (B/D)

Travel along the picturesque Shyok River route to reach Pangong Lake (14,270 ft).
Afternoon at leisure to relax by the lakeside and take photos.
Overnight stay at lakeside camp at Pangong.

Day 5 – Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass (B/D)

Return to Leh via Chang La Pass.
Optional: Stop at Hemis Monastery along the way.
Afternoon free for shopping or relaxing at a local café.
Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6 – Departure from Leh (B)

Morning transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
Tip: Keep buffer time in case of weather-related flight delays.

1. Registration and Payment

• Registration must be completed by filling out the official form and paying a 50% deposit within 7 days of confirmation.

• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure.

• Payments are to be made via bank transfer to the official account of the organizer.

Trip cost includes:
Accommodation (houseboat & hotel), private transportation, entrance fees (Gondola, Mughal gardens), Shikara ride, and meals as per itinerary.

2. Pricing and Inclusions

• Prices are per person, based on twin/triple sharing accommodation.

• Additional charges apply for single occupancy.

Trip price does not include:

• Indian visa

• Travel insurance

• Personal expenses (laundry, phone, etc.)

• Optional activities (e.g., horseback riding)

• Souvenir shopping

• Tips for guide/driver

Price adjustments may occur due to airline fare changes or taxes without prior notice.

3. Travel Documents

• Participants must possess a passport with at least 6 months validity and a valid Indian e-Visa.

• The organizer is not responsible for travel failure due to incomplete documents or visa denial.

4. Cancellation Policy

By participant:

• Unilateral cancellations by the participant are non-refundable.

By organizer (force majeure):

• Full refund or rescheduling option will be offered in case of cancellation due to uncontrollable circumstances.

• Airline ticket cancellation fees are subject to the airline's policy.

5. Itinerary and Changes

• The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, local conditions, or unforeseen events, without reducing the overall travel experience.

• Optional activities (e.g., horseback riding or saffron shopping) are subject to availability and local conditions.

6. Participant Responsibility

• Participants must follow local regulations, guide instructions, and ensure personal safety.

• Participants are liable for property damage or additional costs due to personal negligence.

• The organizer is not responsible for loss of belongings, injuries, or illness during the trip.

7. Travel Insurance

• Participants are strongly advised to have travel insurance covering:

  • Health

  • Accidents

  • Trip cancellation

• The organizer can provide recommendations, but the final decision remains with the participant.

8. Force Majeure

• The organizer is not liable for any loss caused by events beyond its control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics

  • Flight cancellations

  • Government-imposed travel restrictions
