Into the Himalayas: 6 Days of Leh, Nubra & Pangong Discovery

Day 1 – Arrival in Leh (-)

Arrive in Leh, check in to your hotel, and rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.
In the afternoon, take a relaxed visit to Shanti Stupa, accessible with just a few steps—perfect for your first day.

Day 2 – Leh Local Sightseeing (B/D)

Today’s visits include:

• Hall of Fame (military museum)

• Magnetic Hill

• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

• Sangam Point (confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers)

• Leh Palace
  Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 3 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (B/D)

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads.
Visit:

• Diskit Monastery

• Optional Bactrian camel ride at the Hunder sand dunes
  Overnight stay at a camp or hotel in Nubra.

Day 4 – Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok (B/D)

Enjoy a scenic drive along the Shyok River to reach the stunning Pangong Lake (14,270 ft).
Afternoon at leisure to relax by the lake and take photos.
Overnight stay at a lakeside camp.

Day 5 – Pangong to Leh via Chang La Pass (B/D)

Return to Leh via Chang La Pass, with optional stop at Hemis Monastery along the way.
In the afternoon, enjoy free time for shopping or relaxing at a local café.
Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.

Day 6 – Departure from Leh (B)

Morning transfer to Leh Airport for your return flight.
Tip: Keep buffer time in case of flight delays due to weather conditions.

1. Registration and Payment

• Registration must be completed by filling out the official form and paying a 50% deposit within 7 days of confirmation.

• The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure.

• All payments must be made via bank transfer to the official account of the organizer.

Trip cost includes:
Accommodation (houseboat & hotel), private transportation, entrance tickets (Gondola, Mughal gardens), Shikara ride, and meals as per itinerary.

2. Pricing and Inclusions

• Prices are per person, based on twin or triple-sharing rooms.

• Additional charges apply for single occupancy.

Trip price excludes:

• Indian visa

• Travel insurance

• Personal expenses (laundry, phone calls, etc.)

• Optional activities (e.g., horseback riding)

• Souvenir shopping

• Tips for guide/driver

Prices may be adjusted due to changes in airline taxes or government fees without prior notice.

3. Travel Documents

• Participants must hold a passport with at least 6 months’ validity and a valid Indian e-Visa.

• The organizer is not responsible for any travel failure caused by incomplete documents or visa rejection.

4. Cancellation Policy

By the participant:

• Unilateral cancellation by the participant is considered non-refundable.

By the organizer (force majeure):

• A full refund or reschedule option will be provided.

• Flight cancellation fees will follow the airline’s policy.

5. Itinerary and Changes

• The itinerary is subject to change due to weather, local conditions, or unforeseen circumstances, without reducing the value of the experience.

• Optional activities (e.g., horseback riding, saffron shopping) are subject to availability and local conditions.

6. Participant Responsibilities

• Participants must comply with local regulations, follow the guide's instructions, and ensure personal safety at all times.

• Participants are responsible for any property damage or extra charges caused by their own negligence.

• The organizer is not liable for loss of personal belongings, injury, or illness during the trip.

7. Travel Insurance

• Participants are strongly advised to have travel insurance covering:

  • Health and medical emergencies

  • Accidents

  • Trip cancellations

The organizer may offer recommendations, but the final decision rests with the participant.

8. Force Majeure

• The organizer shall not be held liable for any losses caused by events beyond its control, such as:

  • Natural disasters

  • Pandemics

  • Flight cancellations

  • Government travel restrictions
