Day 1: Srinagar – Arrival, Houseboat Check-in, and Shikara Ride (Breakfast)

Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Sheikh ul-Alam Airport, Srinagar. Be greeted by a local representative and transfer directly to a houseboat on Dal Lake.

Evening: Check into the houseboat. Enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride (at own expense, ~INR 500–800) to soak in the stunning views of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.

Night: Dinner at the houseboat and rest.

Day 2: Full Day Pahalgam – Optional Horseback Riding and Souvenir Shopping (Breakfast, Dinner)

Morning: Breakfast at the houseboat, then depart for Pahalgam via road (approx. 2.5–3 hours, 95 km), passing through the saffron fields of Pampore.

Afternoon: Arrive in Pahalgam and enjoy the scenic Lidder Valley. Optional (at own expense): Horseback riding to Aru Valley or Betaab Valley (~INR 500–1,500 per person, negotiable).

Evening: Stop at Pahalgam’s local market to shop for Kashmiri souvenirs like saffron (~INR 150–300/gram), dried fruits (walnuts, almonds), or shawls.
